Two men were stabbed in a fight that broke out as bars were closing Saturday in Old Montreal, said police.

At 3 a.m., police said a fight erupted between several people on the corner of Notre-Dame and McGill Sts. The reason for the fight remains unknown.

A 32-year-old man was stabbed in the upper body, said police.

Doormen from a nearby licensed establishment tried to break the fight, said police. One of the doormen, 31, was stabbed in the lower body.

Both men were hospitalized. Police said their lives were not in danger.

No arrests have been made.
